Terms of service

These Terms of Use and Sale govern use of the online shop of Friperie L'Incontournable and orders placed through it. By using the shop or placing an order, you accept the terms displayed at the time of your purchase.

The shop

The online shop is operated by Friperie L'Incontournable, located at 6114 Boul. Gouin Ouest, Montréal, Québec H4J 1E8. You can reach us at 514 328-7704. The shop uses the Shopify platform to provide its online services.

Using the shop

You must use the shop lawfully and provide accurate, complete, up-to-date information when placing an order. You must not attempt to compromise the operation or security of the shop, access its systems without authorization, or use its content in a way that infringes the rights of others.

Items, descriptions, and availability

We sell, among other things, second-hand clothing and accessories. Each item is a unique piece offered in a single unit. We make reasonable efforts to accurately present its condition, features, measurements, colours, and known flaws. Colour appearance may vary by screen.

Adding an item to the cart does not reserve it. No unpaid reservation is accepted. Availability is confirmed at payment.

Prices, taxes, and order acceptance

Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout before payment.

We accept neither cash, payment at pickup, deferred payment, nor reservation without payment.

An order is accepted when online payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation is sent. If we later need to cancel it because of an inventory, price, or description error, or a fraud risk, we will inform you and refund any amount already paid to the original payment method.

In-store pickup

In-store pickup only. We do not offer delivery or shipping at this time. All orders are picked up free of charge at 6114 Boul. Gouin Ouest, Montréal, Québec H4J 1E8.

Online payment. Payment is completed online when the order is placed, using the options offered at checkout.

Order ready. We will email you as soon as your order is ready for pickup.

Pickup hold period. We hold your order for 5 days after notice that it is ready. If we do not hear from you, we may cancel the order, refund the original payment method, and put the item back on sale. If you need more time, call us: an extension may be granted.

Exchanges, store credits, and refunds

Exchange or store credit. Because every item is a unique piece, we offer an exchange or store credit within 7 days after pickup, provided the item is in the same condition as at the time of sale. The order number or receipt is required.

Inaccurate description or undisclosed flaw. If an item does not match its description or has an undisclosed or overlooked flaw, we may refund it to the original payment method.

Personal information

The collection, use, and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, available in the shop footer and at checkout. Shopify and the providers associated with online payment may process certain information needed for their services under their own policies.

Intellectual property and external services

The texts, images, logos, and other shop content belong to Friperie L'Incontournable or are used with authorization. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or exploited without authorization, except where permitted by law.

The shop may contain links to, or use services provided by, third parties. Those third parties may apply their own terms and policies. Sales completed through this shop are with Friperie L'Incontournable, not Shopify.

Errors and service availability

We may correct an error or update shop information when it is inaccurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the shop, but we make reasonable efforts to keep it operating and protect transactions.

Applicable law

These terms and orders are governed by the laws applicable in Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Changes to the terms

We may change these terms to reflect changes to the shop, our practices, or applicable requirements. The terms governing an order are those displayed when that order is placed; a later change does not retroactively change an order already accepted.
